MNS and KRV, Is it right on your part?

Are Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) personnel attacks on fellow Indians justified?

I am not against MNS or KRV’s cause of retaining cultural heritage of respective states. Both Maharashtra and Karnataka have rich and vast history. Nobody dare question Maratha’s will or Kannadiga’s hospitality?

However, to what extent can we reach out to save our culture is my concern? Are we to kill our brothers for not speaking in Marathi or Kannada? Ofcourse any disrespect shown should be dealt with apt actions, does it mean you can chuck our fellow Indians out?

I can’t stand people complaining or mocking about Bangalore and would surely give them back as hard as it came in. Should you ignore their comment? NO!!!! Just educate them. I never verbally abuse people for complaints on Bangalore’s traffic, infrastructure, abusive auto drivers… I just reply “Don’t you think place you came from will have similar problems?” Answer to this would be silence, a pin drop silence…

People come to Bangalore or Mumbai with hope of making it big. It was not started now, merchants used to travel across oceans to trade with India. We reciprocate now heading to United States or Europe for better future. Can you imagine we thrown away out from US? It is the same feeling that people from Bihar or Tamil Nadu would put through.

No culture or religion promotes violence against any one. Teach outsiders a lesson but let it be on culture, heritage and human nature… of Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Better let us act now or else we might end up having LOCs between all Indian States… Or even cities.

Bangalore, beauty in itself

All happen to read article on Bangalore with crumbling infrastructure or even its horrendous traffic. Everything said and heard is absolutely right.

But today I saw its real beauty, its climate. It was drizzling early morning and sight was nothing short of dreamland. I have never been to Switzerland or even Shimla for that matter but Bangalore’s weather can match it. Ofcourse there is no snow fall but who needs a snowfall when you are enjoying with face up in drizzle.

Bangalore is place in India where living is joy in itself. With many garden to match or from my perspective even better compared to Central park. Lal Bagh and Cubbon Park are historical monuments themselves. Lal Bagh garden was commissioned by the ruler of Mysore, Hyder Ali in 18th century and Cubbon park name after Sir Mark Cubbon, longest serving commissioner from British Empire. No wonder Bangalore is called “Garden City”.

Just a stroll across Cubbon Park brings you in front of Vidhana Soudha and High court. Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore Assembly is rated the most beautiful Assembly Building complex in Asia. A sight of this building will live anyone agape. Right in front of it is red brick building Karnataka High Court, as a monument of democratic India.

A few kilometers from here you find Bangalore Palace displaying true heritage of then State of Mysore.

Bangalore is exemplar of past imbibed in present or east meeting the west with Skyscrapers rising above the horizon. Bangalore has been named “Pub City of India”, Brigade road would be worth a visit.

Technology has always been heart of Bangalore. IIsc and various defense establishments like ADA, ISRO … are testament for this. To better this IT boom in India was started here in our own Bangalore. All IT majors have their presence here.

Bangalore has a whole is city full of life, a beauty in itself.
