All happen to read article on Bangalore with crumbling infrastructure or even its horrendous traffic. Everything said and heard is absolutely right.
But today I saw its real beauty, its climate. It was drizzling early morning and sight was nothing short of dreamland. I have never been to Switzerland or even Shimla for that matter but Bangalore’s weather can match it. Ofcourse there is no snow fall but who needs a snowfall when you are enjoying with face up in drizzle.
Bangalore is place in India where living is joy in itself. With many garden to match or from my perspective even better compared to Central park. Lal Bagh and Cubbon Park are historical monuments themselves. Lal Bagh garden was commissioned by the ruler of Mysore, Hyder Ali in 18th century and Cubbon park name after Sir Mark Cubbon, longest serving commissioner from British Empire. No wonder Bangalore is called “Garden City”.
Just a stroll across Cubbon Park brings you in front of Vidhana Soudha and High court. Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore Assembly is rated the most beautiful Assembly Building complex in Asia. A sight of this building will live anyone agape. Right in front of it is red brick building Karnataka High Court, as a monument of democratic India.
A few kilometers from here you find Bangalore Palace displaying true heritage of then State of Mysore.
Bangalore is exemplar of past imbibed in present or east meeting the west with Skyscrapers rising above the horizon. Bangalore has been named “Pub City of India”, Brigade road would be worth a visit.
Technology has always been heart of Bangalore. IIsc and various defense establishments like ADA, ISRO … are testament for this. To better this IT boom in India was started here in our own Bangalore. All IT majors have their presence here.
Bangalore has a whole is city full of life, a beauty in itself.
